Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Global Traveller. These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Global Traveller (Pty) Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the client (“you”, “your”) for all travel bookings, quotations, and related services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Our Role as a Travel Agency

Global Traveller acts as an agent between you and third-party suppliers, including airlines, hotels, tour operators, car rental companies, and other service providers. We facilitate your bookings and payments but do not own or control the services provided by these suppliers. Each supplier’s terms and conditions will also apply to your booking.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are subject to availability and can change without prior notice. Prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated and are based on current exchange rates, airfares, and taxes at the time of quotation.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing in the event of currency fluctuations, airfare increases, or tax changes prior to full payment.

4. Booking and Payment

  • A deposit (amount specified in your quotation) is required to secure a booking.

  • Final payment is due by the date stated on your invoice.

  • Failure to make payment may result in cancellation and loss of deposits.

  • All payments must be made via approved payment methods listed on our website or invoice.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary depending on the supplier. Global Traveller will apply the supplier’s specific cancellation and refund terms, which may include non-refundable deposits or cancellation fees.
Service fees charged by Global Traveller are non-refundable. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed once funds are received from the supplier.

6. Changes to Bookings

Any change to an existing booking (including dates, names, or destinations) may incur additional costs as per the supplier’s policies. We will assist in making changes where possible but cannot guarantee availability or avoid change fees.

7. Travel Documents and Visas

You are responsible for ensuring that all travel documents—including passports, visas, health certificates, and travel insurance—are valid and up to date.
Global Traveller will provide guidance but cannot be held liable for any losses or delays due to incomplete or incorrect travel documentation.

8. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all bookings. It should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and travel delays. Global Traveller can assist with arranging suitable coverage but will not be liable for any uninsured losses.

9. Liability

While Global Traveller exercises due care in selecting reputable suppliers, we cannot be held responsible for:

  • Any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or inconvenience caused by third-party suppliers.

  • Acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, or political unrest beyond our control.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid directly to Global Traveller for our service fees.

10. Consumer Protection

Global Traveller complies with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), and other relevant South African laws. We are committed to fair, transparent, and ethical business practices.

11. Personal Information

By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
